If you use 3rd-party peripherals, such as MIDI controllers or external audio interfaces, check with the manufacturer if you need to install driver or firmware updates for compatibility. Always perform a full backup first and foremost. With all major macOS upgrades, it’s wise to proceed with caution in “mission critical” situations. If you updated to Monterey, Big Sur, or Catalina before updating to MegaSeg 6.1 or newer, please use our Recovery System to install the update. Make sure you have the latest version of MegaSeg 6 by using the “Check For Updates” command in MegaSeg’s Help menu. Yes!
